Our Mission
Kaurage is dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing abuse, displacement, and instability through access to legal Focus Areas, housing support, and pathways to long-term independence.
Our work centers underserved communities, particularly within South Asian populations, where cultural stigma, language barriers, and systemic challenges often prevent individuals from accessing support.
Guided by the principle of Jee Aaya Nu — All Are Welcome, Kaurage is committed to inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive Focus Areas.
We aim to create a safe and trusted space where individuals can access support, rebuild their lives, and move forward with dignity.
Kaurage reflects both heritage and purpose—drawing from the strength of Kaur and the courage it takes to survive, seek safety, and rebuild.
Our Board
Kaurage is guided by a Board of Directors with experience across legal Focus Areas, community leadership, and professional sectors.
Additional information about board members will be shared in a manner that respects privacy and safety considerations.
